2000 Toyota 4runner
Toyota 4Runner for the 2000 is offered in three trim levels: base, SR5 and Limited.
This vehicle has a room that is wide enough for five passengers with the rear
seat that was split 50/50. When the bottoms of the rear seats flip up and the
seat backs fold down, a big, flat cargo area can be seen. The spare tire is placed
underneath that it doesn't obstruct the cargo's way in and doesn't occupy cargo
space.
Another feature of 2000 4Runner is that its way to the rear is through a hatch
with separate opening window. Having a hatch is better than a door-style tailgate
because it can be opened and it permits you to stay closer to the cargo area when
you are loading things. It has an excellently-designed big side mirrors that provide
very good rearward vision.
Another minor change for 2000 model is running lights with ABS. It has two available
power plants, a 150-horsepower four-cylinder engine and 183-horsepower V6. Also,
4Runner has an independent suspension with upper and lower control arms and coil
springs. The axle in the rear is placed with a multi-link arrangement and it utilizes
coil springs instead of a leaf spring.
It also has an exact sense of rack-and-pinion steering and a tidy turning circle
of 37.4 feet resulting to quality ride experience and good maneuverability especially
in rough-road adventure.
