Toyota 4runner suspension lift
Suspension is the section of the vehicle that connects the wheels to the frames
and directs ride quality and handling. Most suspensions comes with coil springs,
leaf springs, shock absorbers or struts, anti-sway bars, and system of linkages,
like control arms, torsion bars or 4-links or trailing arms.
Starting in 1986, the front suspension of Toyota was altered to upper and lower
control arms supported by torsion bars. Suspension lift includes necessary replacement
parts and bracketry to attain the preferred amount of lift and to make sure that
the steering components are properly aligned.

Suspension lift also includes rear blocks and add-a-leafs. Toyota 4Runner front
suspension uses upper and lower control arms supported by torsion bars. Its design
is a bit unique because the torsion bars run on the top of the frame rails.
On the rear suspension, majority of the models comes with a solid axle with leaf
springs. Suspension lift is not only mounted to enhance the vehicle's appearance,
it is intended to improve easy handling and ride quality. With the suspension
lift, Toyota 4Runner can perform better because it gives the driver no difficulty
in handling and it gives the passenger a quality and comfortable ride.
